Advanced - Step 8 - Software Installation

This menu allows you to configure the following: Manage Software Installations and Updates When enabled, this option will allow Mozilla to install add-ons/extensions that enhance Mozilla. One Example is Optimoz, a program which adds Mouse Gesture support to Mozilla. You can also install software on your PC that way (this does not apply to programs that end with ".exe"). Mozilla will not automatically install software without asking you first! Update Notifications When this option is enabled, Mozilla will alert you when a newer version is available. Mozilla will check for updates once a week / month. This feature may or may not work in the Mozilla version you are currently using.
